Matheus Coelho

Doctorate student at the University of Toronto, Matheus Coelho is a Toronto-based Brazilian conductor, Baritone and clarinet player. With orchestral, choral, operatic and popular music related-exposure, the young musician has been performing and studying in recognized institutions with renowned conductors, such as Marin Alsop, Neil Thomson, and so forth.

Beyond the podium, Coelho sang in operas and choral concerts and has been committed to many educational projects, such as Sistema Winnipeg.

Graduated from the University of Manitoba and engaged with vocal-orchestral projects in Canada, Matheus seeks to grow as a new young talent in the North American music scenario.
